Training & equipment: We primarily use positive reinforcement training. We do not use corrective or aversive training methods (anything that could cause the dog fear or pain). The equipment we use in our sessions is an important part of this philosophy. As such we do not allow any aversive training equipment in our sessions, including choke chains, prong collars or shock collars.

Registration, Fees & Payment: Registration form and waiver must be completed and signed before any training sessions commence. Payment is due in full before the beginning of our first session. We accept cash, credit card, email transfer or Paypal. All services are non-transferrable and non-refundable. Packages cancelled after registration but prior to commencement may be refunded by request, but are subjected to a $50 administration refund fee.

Training Package: Our training packages must be used within their individualized time line. Sessions are done once a week. There is a one week emergency reschedule period. Sessions not used within this time limit period are not refundable and will be forfeited.

Cancellations: To maintain a high level of service, we are unable to offer a credit within 48 hours of your session. Cancellations in advance of 48 hours will be applied towards a future session, but no refunds will be given. In the case of cancellation on the part of Dizine Canine, clients will be contacted by phone and/or email and the session will be rescheduled. No-shows or late cancellations will not be refunded or credited.

Dogs: Dogs will remain on leash at all times during outdoor sessions, unless specifically instructed otherwise. All behavioural concerns must be disclosed in writing prior to the commencement of training. Proof of positive titres or up to date vaccinations to be provided upon request.

Client responsibility: Clients are solely responsible for their dog's actions and behaviours at all times. By registering for our training sessions you are agreeing to this and agreeing that you assume full legal, moral, and financial responsibility for all actions and behaviours of your dog and agree to assume all risks involved.

Children: Children are welcome in training sessions, as they are part of the family and play an important role. However children under 16 must be supervised by an adult.

Photograph & Video Release: Photographs and/or video footage may occasionally be taken of dogs during training and/or other related activities. Clients give permission for any resulting photographs or video containing images of their dogs to be used for advertising, educational material, or promotional purposes. Clients that do not want pictures or video used much advise in advance.

Consulting: Consulting and opinions given by Dizine Canine, it's owners and employees, on services outside of its core services (i.e. diet and nutrition, vaccines, business services) are given on a purely personal opinion and experience basis and not as a professional consult. For any health concerns please consult your veterinarian.

I understand and acknowledge that dog training/behaviour modification may be an activity in which damage or injury to dog (s) and/or person (s) may occur. I am aware that participating in dog training sessions or other related activities is not without risk to myself, guests who may attend, or any dog present. I am aware that regardless of training, handling, or environmental circumstances any dog is capable of biting or otherwise causing harm. I, being fully informed of such risks and hazards agree to assume all risks of such occurrences.

I hereby waive and release Dizine Canine Pet Dog Training, its owners, all acquaintances and agents from any and all liability of any nature for injury or damage that I, my dog or guests may suffer while participating in dog training classes and other related activities.

I agree to indemnify Dizine Canine, its owners, all representatives and agents from any and all claims by myself, members of family and acquaintances as a result of any action or inaction by either my dog or any other, the owner or handler, arising from any reason or cause whatsoever.
